Answer» I recently built a NEW PC with a STRIPED raid OS and mirrored data drvies. After installing all the software, I noticed that when I went to set up outlook etc everything has defaulted to the c:\documents and settings\.... on my C drive and I really want my profile to exist on my Data drives. I have been searching to FIND if there is a way to CHANGE this without having to reinstall everything. I can change the registry key for ProfileDirectory and any new users I create will have the data stored on the data drives but as the admin I when i reboot I lose all my programs etc . Is there a way to leave my programs installed on the OS drive and move the dcouments and settings and all of its belongings to another drive ? |
