Didn't have any problems. Now on start-up my computer won't go past windows xp pro screen with the square FLASHING across. As long as the versions match you can borrow another one to do the repair.
This is perfectly legal provided your machine has a valid XP liscense.I have a Lenovo running windows xp pro service pack 3. It has been working just fine for the past 1 year. Just 3 days ago, i put my comp into hibernate and when i opened it back, everything was frozen. i could not move even the mouse. so i force shut down and when restarting it, it just showed the microsoft xp logo, and just kept loading. it doesnt start at all. so i went to safe mode and restored it. it didnt work. i did choose last known good configuration, no LUCK. Help me. i am writing this using safe mode with networking . I am a student and have no idea about this tech so i step by step help would be really awesome.
i lost my cd when i shifted so i dont have the cds that came along with the commputer
