Answer» getting message - invalid parameter was passed to a service or function. can not get to c drive to see the directory either. tried boot disk NOTHING worked to see the drive. some say it is a virus but cannot get to RUN the program to scan the drive because it required SYS 32 windows to run. I APOLOGIZE if this is what you meant by not being able to USE the boot disk, but can you get into the XP recovery console? Can you enter BIOS?
