Answer» While on the internet, a program was downloaded onto my computer that is now covering up my windows background. I have tried everything I can think of to get rid of it, but to no avail. When I right click and click on properties, it lists none. Is there a way to remove this off my computer so my real background shows up again?

I tried to copy a a screen shot, but unable to do it. Does not give me the option to do so. It is just a blank white screen, over the background, but my icons are visible over the white.
Whenever I TRY to delete or check for properties, comes up with nothing. It is as though there is nothing to grab onto. Is there anything in Add-Remove programs which shouldn't be there, or in your msconfig startup?I do not see anything unusual in Add-Remove programs. Not sure what to look for in msconfig startup. You need to use more than ONE program.
Creating a screenshot can be done using the print screen button.Did you try a restore to a previous date?Sometimes simple themes cover your desktop.
Rebooting takes care of these.
