Solve : XP as a server?

Answer»

I was wondering can you use XP Pro as a server for local machines attached to it?Yes.
Any OPERATING system can be used as a server as LONG as the server software you WANT to use supports the operating system.

If you're looking for more than a generic answer you will have to be more specific on what kind of server you want to run.well i want to run a server for a local macine to logg on to my machine but my machine to still be accessable for me.What do you mean by log on?
Do you mean a remote desktop connection to your computer?
yea i mean log in as in log in on my mahine but at a local computer and i mean in the local network i.e homeXP can't do that. (Not that I'm aware of anyway).
You will need WINDOWS Server 2003 (or NEWER) with Terminal Services.
