Answer» hi everybody
I am working in a project where it is REQUIRED to capture the x-y coordinates from a map and send them to the PC. I am thinking to use an optical mouse to do so. I know the communication protocol format used(ps/2, usb, ...).
However, my problem is that I do not know how the optical mouse ENCODE the x-y coordinates digitally and send them to the pc? Is it possible to EXTRACT those data sent by the mouse and decode them from the pc?
It is nice and appreciated if someone could HELP me in it.
Best of Luck
