kinda interesting, NOTICE the Ewido free spyware removal*Yes, I'm surprised to see that. I've used ewido anti-malware 3.5 a few times, and it seemed like a tool worth having. Here's the actual PC Magazine review: ewido anti-spyware 4.0.

I also was not aware ewido, or at least part of it, was acquired by AVG in April. So, the latest version of ewido anti-spyware is AVG Anti-Spyware 7.5.Quote

I haven't seen the SCANNER in action yet, but I FOUND it to be an annoying program and even w ith its service disabled it continued to harass me!Notice the shift in the name from anti-trojan to anti-spyware?
Ewido used to be good, I wonder if Grisoft have been playing around with it.If ANYTHING i'm sure they will improve on it...

I've been using it for 2 years now without any issues and it has done quite well killing trojans.

patio. 8-)

p.s. I also don't put much credence in anything PCRag prints anymore...haven't for quite some time.
They tend to cater to their advertisers. (Norton COMES to mind)
