hey, guys I REALLY NEED your help on this one

my windows movie maker keeps randomly crashing when I use it, it's really starting to piss me off because, one of my hobbies is to make NBA mixes and videos, as soon as I start clicking and dragging It crashes before I can even save my movie. I've heard that I'm not the only one that has had this problem but nobody knows how to fix it. I would really appreciate it if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this, If you dont know can you ATLEAST suggest any other video editing program. Thanks in advance
sHaRp12........ What type of files are you working with and what sort of output are you looking for ? ............DVD , SVCD , VCD  or what ?

Do you have any other BURNING software ?

dl65  I work with WMV files and when I make a movie I just save it to my computer I don't burn it onto a disk,

the program shuts down when I add effects or drag a clip or something like that, and it gives me the message, Windows Movie Maker has encountered a problem and needs to shut down, is it my computers fault or is it a BUG in the WMMif this is via a cam corder check the pal.....settings

or the old one?I dont use clips from camcorder, I use clips from the InteretI have WMM 2.0 I cant install 2.1 because I can't install SP2sHaRp12...... Why are you unable to install SP2 ?
