I have no idea, I was just browsing and it just turned off. The choices are Start in safe mode (normal) Start in safe mode (something else) Start in safe mode (something else) Start normal. but I can't choose any, it is already on normal and the times runs out.Have you downloaded files or programs and installed or used these before turning off the computer? That would be the BIOS. So we have eliminated mechnical faults. Try rapidly pressing F8 before Windows XP loads and choose last known good configuration if it lets you. If not, you may need to perform a repair installation with your Windows XP CD-ROM.
