(I just reformatted a HD today, and think I messed something up, and I MIGHT have to do it again... Wanted to make sure I wasn't running out of chances lol )

AVG Free, Sygate and MSoft ANTISPYWARE are a good combination Flame.

[glb]Flame[/glb]I thought the installation and subsequent activation of XP was limited if hardware changes were involved such as installing on a different computer?
(Maybe it's an URBAN myth)
I know W2k (xp on steroids) has no such activations or limitations.

Hey, Flame:
The only time you may run into a problem is if you have made a major hardware CHANGE (like swapping out the motherboard). The database at the Microsoft website may think this is a different computer and not let you register the operating system. If this happens, you may still call Microsoft to register via the phone. The phone number is displayed on the registration splash screen.
