This way Users at LEAST know about the situation.It was installed as a stand-alone update.The update is actually named "End of support notification". Interestingly, MSE also now contains warnings that XP support will end next month. It also always indicates your machine's status as: "Potentially Unprotected". At least the popup message has the checkbox for "Don't show this again", MSE pops up a warning on every boot and I haven't found a way to disable it. |
