Solve : Windows XP cannot boot straightly?

My Windows XP did not boot straightly it show a error message " We Apologize for the inconvenience, but windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this...". Please help me guys. Thanks a lot.Check for problems in your Device Manager.

That does not at all sound as a legitimate error message.

Have you downloaded FILES that could have been infected?

Can you enter safe mode?Larry:

Yeah, i've seen that one a few times.  That's Windows XP's new "kinder, gentler" way of displaying a blue screen of death (BSOD).  

Did you recently add a new expansion card, new drive, or install a new program?

One thing you may try is to boot to the Last Known Good Configuration.  When you start your computer, just before the error message, keep pressing the F8 key till you see a menu of boot options.

You will see Safe Mode and Last Known Good Configuration.  The last known good config is a copy of the registry Windows made the last time it successfully booted.   Choose that option and see if  your computer starts successfully.

Let us KNOW if it does not.

Thanks guys for the REPLIES. Yeah i'll try all the options (Safe Mode, Last Known Good Config & Start Normally) But there's no happen. I'll try "Start Normally and Last know good config" go to Windows XP logo and after it will reset and goto the option again. That's the routine did not go to the windows successfully. I'll try the "Safe Mode" it display a log files or something then hang the computer. I can't format because my important files is there.

What can i do guys. Pls. help me again. Thanks a lot.Try repairing your installation of Windows Xp.
