Answer» Have STARTED to install Windows XP Home onto new build PC with Sate Raid (Mirrored). Have CREATED Raid driver floppy. However got distracted and must have missed prompt to insert Raid driver. Installation has now reached 'verifying dmi pool DATA' and stopped.Have verified CMOS settings for HHD are correct. The XP Home cd is an OEM version which includes SP2 and is the first time it has been used. How do I get back to the point where the Raid Driver is REQUESTED ?Reinstall Windows XP. When installing, press F6 whilst prompted. You will be prompted to do so before you get to the menu where you can choose to Install, Repair or Quit.f6 key on installing winxp |
