Solve : Windows starting up....but nothing happens? |

Answer» I turn on my laptop and it says "WINDOWS starting up..." and nothing else happens.hold down the ctrl+alt+del+ keys..........does it boot.....to the login.....Try booting directly to the XP CD and load the Recovery Console then try running - chkdsk /r - and SEE what result that has.Try booting in Safe Mode.Did i here Linux When I go into safe mode it brings me back to the "windows starting up" screen. Rebooting doesn't work at all. I don't have an XP disc, it came loaded in the computer.Do you have any recovery CDs? What is the make and model of your computer?It's a Toshiba Satellite 1415-S173. I do have recovery CD's, but when I put them in the screen doesn't change.Lazy HARD drive maybe...........try tapping the UNDERSIDE of the laptop.....on boot up.........>>.the left side of the laptop NEAR the power on button....or attach the laptop mains adapter to it........now boot it. |
