Answer» I just built a PC, all new parts Hi My plan was to put the OS on the SATA drive but I did try putting it on the M.2 with the other disconnected with the same result.Hi Is your memory on this list http://download.gigabyte.asia/FileList/Memory/mb_memory_z390-aorus-pro-wifi_190415.pdf Everything else checks out with the build list being compatible. Perhaps post some pictures of the machine may help. Also check you have the memory modules in Dimm b1 and a1 or b2 and a2 as per page 12 of the manual. Except poor assembly which if you posted the pictures requested could show. Also as i can't find your exact memory on the memory list for the motherboard. I would run memtest from the bios just as a quick test. Also did you check the drives were detected correctly in the bios. Here's a pic of the build Quote from: patio on June 26, 2019, 06:17:13 PM Have you disconnected the M2 and tried it the other way yet ? ?Yes, I have tried each drive independently Quote from: Lisa_maree on June 26, 2019, 06:20:35 PM Hi Linneon Sorry, just noticed I posted the wrong memory, the first MB I got was bad and I decided to just go with a different brand when I returned it and so got the right memory for the board: CMX16GX4M2B3000C15 is what I have now. Also, everything shows up in BIOSThe build looks good the picture is a little small. How come you returned a M/B ? So memtest from the bios tested ok no errors ? Also what are the voltages and Temps like displayed in the bios? If you leave it in the bios does it lockup ? Quote from: Lisa_maree on June 26, 2019, 08:07:53 PM The build looks good the picture is a little small. Honestly, I don't see the option for a memory test unless I'm missing it somewhere The BIOS has never locked up and I've left it up for a pretty long time. If you want more info then this pic offers, just let me know. Quote from: Lisa_maree on June 26, 2019, 08:07:53 PM
I returned the MB because it wouldn't even POST, give any error beeps or error lights and Amazon tech support agreed that it was bad |
