Solve : Windows recovery CD admin password?

I am trying to use the Windows recovery CD to repair or recover the boot.ini file. However, when I get to the Administrator password I do not know the password and cannot get past this POINT in the recovery process. Any help to get past the admin password?

Do you MEAN that you are trying to access the Recovery Console and get stopped at the Admin Password?  If so please read this.

We may be able to advise about sorting out your problem if you give a few more details, like why you feel it's NECESSARY to access boot.ini, also please read this.

I cannot run the Regedit as recommended. When I try to boot up I get the error.
Invalid Boot.ini file
Booting From c:\Windows
NTDETECT failed

then it tries to boot again.

Any ideas?
