Solve : Windows Media Digital Playback Prob?

Answer»

I know that windows is touchy about DMA (I think that is what its called)  Something about audio from the cd DRIVE going directly to the sound card or something.  Maybe you can trying turning that on/off???I NEVER have had this problem in the past, but I don't fully recall ever copying a CD in windows media 9, so perhaps it's something freaky within the new version

yourfate - that sounds like a good idea, how would I go about doing that?
It depends on which OS you are running...but only after a certain point.

For most windows...

RIGHTCLICK on my compter
Properties
go to the device manager
find CD drive
rightclick on drive
properties
