Solve : Windows ME won't start up? |

Answer» We have a Compaq Presario and my boyfriend went through it the other night and deleted everything he felt wasn't needed. Now we cannot get onto Windows. The START up SCREEN comes on, then the desktop shows up, but there is no toolbar, no icons, nothing. I have tried Safe Mode, and still nothing. I have even tried to use the emergency beboot disk, and nothing seems to WORK. PLEASE Help!Have to look after the family name GO back to the safe mode ...and chose the start windows from the command prompt.......A:\> type this after it scanreg/restore..>>>>>.so it now looks like this |
