Answer» My folks have win me on their gateway computer. for the first time EVER, i did windows updates from mircosoft. SOMEHOW, it dosn't LOAD all the way. Meaning that the computer will boot up, get all of the windows ICONS, but it stops before it finishes loading. my pointer will have the hourglass displayed...please help.reboot pc and hold down the f8 key look at the options on the screen...........start windows from the command prompt a:\> now type scanreg/fixWhen do I need to hold down the f8 key?on boot up |
