Solve : Windows Live Mail error messages?

I have WINDOWS Home Premium 7 and using Google Chrome.

I cannot send new emails out in Windows Live Maill, as I get the error message "A probem OCCURRED while trying to open this  message.  A problem a  occurred.   Please TRY again"

Sometimes I can't even open an email  - same message, let alone forward or reply.

Last month I reinstalled it because of the  problems, and several times since then I have "repaired" it, - to no avail.

Any CLUES please?   (I dont want to change to annother mail program tho)I'm cancelling my question as I have far too much wrong with desktop and NEED to get some help.
