Answer» Dear Users My laptop has biscuit HARD disk it is dead I cannot find it in market. Can I install WINDOWS in SD card provided in my laptop as card reader??It can be DONE but why would you, If the drive is no longer available is there not an adapter you could use or perhaps put an ssd in the DVD drive bay. I have yet to find a drive INTERFACE that is so custom you can't find a replacement.Installing Windows on an SD card in a reader would result in abysmal performance. SD cards are entirely too slow to use as an OS drive.
You would also need to jump thru some hoops to install Windows since the installer will not install the OS on a removable drive.
