Solve : Windows 98SE hangs on shut down? |

Answer» Now I know this is an old issue-but mine is a new ONE. I have the patch for the hanging poblem, and up until recently I did not have this problem. Here goes: My ethernet adapter went out and so I purchased a new one (win98 compatible). After I installed the software---that's when I started having this problem again. I contacted the manufacturer and they suggested UPDATING the bios DRIVER, but I could not FIND an update. And the manufacturer of course had no other solution either. Anyone have any ideas what could remedy this problem? |
