To me Windows 8 is pretty much Windows 7 with touch screen abilities. I don't have a touch screen. Oh, and no start button... I had no idea I was getting this computer. Complete surprise to me. I had done ZERO reading up on Windows 8. It took me about 6 or 7 minutes to find the Control Panel. Once I achieved that everything else fell into place. Like riding a bike.
