Setup: two recent high spec laptops, both Win 10, both using Windows Mail.

One works correctly.

The other has always had intermittant poor screen handling in the mail text WINDOW, occasionally missing showing words or part words, sometimes this corrects itself in SECONDS, or when further typing, other times I have had to force a screen refresh. This issue is ONLY with Windows Mail. other text handling (like typing here or in WORD) is perfect.

Now it has also stopped printing mail when requested.  The mail if copy/pasted into Word prints OK. The printer "jogs" as it does when it is receiving a file, but no print and print queue is empty when checked.


The other laptop has no issues showing or printing. They are the same VERSION,

How can I repair/reload Windows Mail without affecting any other prog/app please? If the accounts are not imap then BACKUP the mail first.

In windows 10 you can repair most programs by going to Add remove programs, Apps , Select mail and Calendar , select advanced options,  Select Reset this will reset mail to the default settings.
