Answer» this is very frustrating. i restarted my computer, and windows wouldnt start up again. im running on window XP, and when i TURN on the computer, it shows the computer info, and then after the XP opening screen, it goes all black. the cursor APPEARS, and i can move it around, but that's the only thing i can do. please help me!!!Hold down the f8 key on boot chose last good config from the OPTIONS.....Liddokun: Just curious: Was anything changed just prior to this happening? If you need help getting into safe mode, or if these suggestions don't fix it, let us know. If all else fails, we will talk you through a repair installation of XP.
