Solve : Win98/Vista networking? |

Answer» I'm trying to GET a windows 98 machine to ACCESS shared DRIVES on my new Vista machine on my home network but am having no luck. I got the XP machine to access Vista by creating and ID/pwd the same on Vista and XP. I did the same on Win98 but even with the ID having the same password as it does on Vista, when I click on the Vista machine in Network Neighbourhood, it only asks for a password (doesn't let me enter an ID), and no matter what password I TYPE in for the IDs I have on the Vista machine it says invalid. |
