greetings CH!

I have yet run into another issue that I've found puzzling. I decided to install windows 8 on my toshiba system and im happy! Computer runs great. However there are somethings that dont click.

First thing----> When i was installing drivers I installed Ati radeon HD 4250 mobile Driver and each time i boot up the machine i got a Runtime error stating this..

Run Time error!

Program C:\Windows\System32\atibtmon.exe

this application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in a
unusual way.
please contact the applications support team for more info.

After i got this i went ninite.com and downloaded the latest JAVA Runtime envirment and i still get that error. i even reinstalled the driver.
im out of ideas at the moment. Am i missing Drivers? or some plugins? what would be causing this is mess up?
My system specs are as follows:

Windows 8 Pro
Toshiba satellite L645D PSK0QC-02007
AMD Athlon 2.2ghz 1mb L2 Cache
4Gb DDr3
500Gb 7200RPM seagate momentus Drive
Ati radeon 4250 HD mobile Graphics

Forgot.. One more thing.
I put the laptop to sleep by either clicking sleep or closing the lid, it will go to sleep and then wake up 5 seconds later.. whats going on?This will OCCUR if you got the vid driver from anywhere ELSE but Toshiba.Why does that happen? i got the driver directly from ATi cause the drivers that Toshiba usually offer are outdated and useless?? anything i can do to fix this issue?  Because laptops are very finicky about drivers...and the Manuf. write them specifically for each unit...no matter who's components are involved.

i didnt seem to have this issue when i ran windows 7. Thats what im confused about the most. I installed the same driver in 7 and it worked great!
