get videos from everywhere - cnn, MSNBC, comedy central, etc. Everywhere but YouTube. Every time someone sends me a YouTube link, I get a black screen with the message This video is no longer available. I can't contact YouTube anywhere on their home page. What to do? When did this start?

Does the same thing happen in Internet Explorer?Funny you should ask! As soon as you ASKED me about the OS, I REALIZED that I only use Firefox, although I used to use IE, which is still on my hard disc. So I put it on and sure enough I got all of YouTube's videos. Now I guess I should contact Mozilla and tell them the problem, unless you have a quicker and easier suggestion...I really like Mozilla, so I hope I can fix it... I think either an addons has disabled Youtube somehow, you're missing a plugin or Javascript is turned off.

First, try this.

Go to Start --> All Programs --> Mozilla Firefox --> Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode)

Untick all the check boxes and press Continue, then try to access Youtube.Well, nothing SHOWED up under Mozilla Safe Mode, but when I clicked on Tools, IK found ADblock preferences and I unchecked the two checked boxes. Voila! I now get everything. Thanks for suggesting a way.Good work.
