Good luckthanks ALOT i was sure since the computer had windows se if i had to download windows 98 then upgrade it to se or something like that or just install se againshould i just reinstall windows 98 se or am i able to install windows 2000 on it?Can't ADVISE you on that as don't KNOW what cd's you have. If you have the full cd for 98se then you can install that then upgrade to 2k. If you have the full cd for 2k then just install 2k. If all your cd's are upgrade versions then see if you can sort out the 98se you have already installed before upgrading to 2k.
Do you really mean to "download" Windows versions or do you mean to install from cd.i mean install sry bout thatTheo:
The name of the operating system and whether it is an upgrade or a full version of the operating system will be printed on the Microsoft installation CD.
Please let us know what is printed on you CDs.

Change your BIOS to boot from the cdrom. Stick your full OS cd into the cdrom and re-boot then follow the on-screen prompts.
Good lucki have a question also bout my windows 98 computer it also had windows 98 se and it has problems also should i install regular windows 98 to it or should i go out and buy windows 98 se and reinstall it?Hello Chad.
Bad policy to ask a question on someone else's post, you might get ignored. Much better to start new post.
Please start a new post with your question and give a few more details e.g. what probs you have, what OS cd's you have available. Maybe they can be fixed without you spending any of your hard earned LOLLY
