1.	Solve : Where is the post showing list of services 'to'/'not to' disable in XP?
Answer» I'm working with one of my old PC's running XP with only 383 mb physical memory (according to Everest Home Edition). I want to set some uneeded services to disable / manual to speed it up some. I KNOW some basic programs to change like "MESSENGER" which I don't need running, but I remember a post somewhere on here showing all the services and thier function. I just can't find it at this time. Can someone give me a link to this info. I've searched for it for a while but no joy. Thank's MikeBlack Vipers site would be my 1st stop...Excellent! That's what I needed. I've made my changes and the PC is booting QUICKER and responding quicker within Windows functions. And so far everything ESSENTIAL is working correctly. I saved a log of my changes too in case I run into something that doesn't. Thanks Patio for the umteenth time you've helped me! You're more than WELCOME.
