I didn't know until today.
They can PUT malware into you laptop if you use a public charging station, like in an airport. Don't do it.

I'm not aware of any Laptops that use USB to charge.

The threat of "juice-jacking" is mitigated by smartphone OS's requiring the user to specifically indicate to allow data transfer.
