Solve : What is ISO??

Answer»

ISO is the International Standards ORGANIZATION which basically unites various standards from around the world into ONE common standard. Companies then try to get certified compliance so that their products can be used anywhere in the world! Compliance does not have to be 100% yet, but darn close.

This could be anything from automobiles to software. We even SOUGHT and got ISO compliance at the steel mill I worked in.

Categories range from statistical process CONTROL to management practices.

Most computer buffs see the standard applied to CD and DVD burners and the software used. NERO is compliant for one reason because it prevents buffer overflows and saves you some coasters.
