Solve : What can't Netbooks Do ?? |
|
Answer» I really need a PC to surf the internet and use for storage of my photos from my digital camera. I really do nothing else. Would a netbook be OK? Can I print off a netbook? I read an article where Apple calls netbooks "pieces of junk". Is that true? Can it still download files off the internet? I'm not sure if it can play CDs or DVDs or make NEW ones. Am I better-off with a full-size laptop? What else can't a netbook do? The cost is not too much different than a notebook.Netbooks can do everything a laptop can do and ALMOST everything a desktop PC can do. I've gotten my HP Netbook up to 7 hours with its HDD. Harharharahh, OK, so it's even longer then laptops regardless of the HD. Quote ahh, OK, so it's even longer the laptops regardless of the HD. longer the laptops?? what? longer then laptops, I meant. As in, battery life. Quote longer then laptops I think you meant than.I'm currently typing this on a Samsung NC10 Netbook. It can do everything - Even basic video editing. It actually gets a higher benchmark score than my full desktop. (But have a look at my specs) The only problem is the lack of optical disc drive - You will need an external one or share one from another PC over a network. Hope this Helps, Cameron GrayI believe netbooks have a longer battery life because of their small LED screens and the N270 Intel Atom Processor which consumes much less power compared to processors found in laptops and notebooks. Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on July 28, 2009, 09:25:25 AM Netbooks can do everything a laptop can do and almost everything a desktop PC can do. Most netbooks don't have optical drives. They do usually have the ability to attach an external optical drive through what is called a USB port.so is netbook simply a replacement for those ultraportable laptops?a netbook is a "ultraportable" laptop. the original NAME for which was the marketing agnostic "Subnotebook" or "sublaptop" which implied they were worse then laptops. The term 'Notebook' is replacing the term 'laptop' because laptops NOWADAYS get so hot, you can't put them on your laps. Netbook is originally a term for a small, portable computers designed for surfing the net (not for playing games, graphic editing, ect). |
