Answer» Hi all, I am new here and not very computer competent. I hope someone here can clear up a WORRY I have.
A while back my ex boyfriend gave me a FOLDER of .mp3 music. I tried to delete it today and one song wouldn't delete. There was an error MESSAGE saying that I didn't have permission to change it and something about it being in use by another program; it wasn't being played at the time. When i right clicked the song and looked at its properties, in the comments section of the properties WINDOW there was a sequence of groups of numbers and letters, like a product key. When i removed that and saved it without anything in the comments section I was able to delete it.
Does that seem like something dodgy?
A couple of times lately when I've been talking to my ex he has sorta said things referring to stuff I've searched and typed online. I haven't confronted him with how he knows that sort of thing but I'm becoming worried that he may have done something to compromise the security of my computer. I do run SCANS and nothing has been detected.
Any advice to help or just ease my mind would be greatly appreciated.I wouldn't worry about it.Ok, Thank you
