Answer» i was thinking about making a website where you can enter a file name and it will give you detailed information about the file LIKE roughly size, location and what it does(system file ect) but im not sure if there is already a site like that were all the information is in one spot so you DONT have to go googling the file and look at a bunch of different sites to find out every detail about it. For listing individual files and a brief explanation i don't believe such a site exists because of the sheer volume of files.......so go for it if you like. I actually had a similar comment typed up, but decided to take it out and suggest the 'wiki' style setup. Well, ProcessLibrary has apparently 300 million processes.... I have a laptop its not that old about 3 years old... I have been haing problems with it turning off while I am using it, it turns right back on by itself after with a black screen that says "window error recovery" I contacted HP they had my do a "POWER Drain" they also had my turn off my laptop and then turn it back on and press f10 repeatedly to get to the BIOS. I'm not sure if this worked since I just did this a few mins ago... But am hoping if anyone can help with anything else I can do if these steps did'nt work. Thanks in Advance soniaad, please start a new topic in the Microsoft Windows board. If your site gets big enough, you're talking about profit, not just "covering yourself". i doubt it will get that big but never knowok guys don't laugh but i got a site up a forum and a blog here FileQuest oh and now i just need to figure out how im going to do the data.. like layout wise. |
