Answer» What really should happen to MS Tech support...
I don't know. I really haven't dealt with MS Tech Support for a long time. I'm GUESSING that, like tech support from so many companies, it's gone downhill in recent years. That seems to be the message implied in your title and post. Its hard-wear related problem. Someone should figure out a user friendly format, that suits the fix, but the more value something is to users the less money someone else makes.
I think it will happen in time, like automobiles, instead long term quality being pushed off to consumers, this is replaced by call backs, elevating quality, . . .
The fewer call backs the better for both the, user and manufacturer,
of course that will be impossible without an advocate, reducing down time for all computer users instead of the BIG INDUSTRIAL accounts, international customers, and hundreds of thousands of licensee's, (who after all have their own money's coming in and then oh yeah you their best CUSTOMER) , . .both national and international for the richest whatssizname, the MS Bullfrog, the Big GREEN Backer.
