Have followed walkthroughs and STILL when I get to the harvester pool the water is still flowing so that I cannot walk down the stairs.

Do a GOOGLE search for 'Myst Revelation 4 Walkthroughs'have done three walkthroughs and yes Homer have been to that siteSome point-and-click adventures can be very particular. Make sure you have done everything EXACTLY as the walkthroughs DESCRIBE. And I would suggest reading some of the walkthrough; you may have missed certain steps that you were SUPPOSED to take earlier before the puzzle.thank you all for replies. The answer is that if you are going a walkthrough, just follow the directions and do no thinking on your own. When I finally learned that the thing worked!!!!Glad you got it sorted out.
