Answer» I downloaded Ubunti a while BACK. Then I changed my mind on were I want to do it. I then lost my D-drive in the computer. It is gone. The hard drive is in the computer, but it doesn't show up at all
Does anyone now what I can do to GET it back, without taking the computer to a technician and paying to have this done. Well, you may have made D drive to a Linux type. Windows does not mount Linux drives. If you go into the disk MANAGER you will SEE it as a unknown type. You can change it to a NTFS type. With a format that will erase all your DATA, that is.Is there a way I can get the data off the d-drive first. I have an external hard drive that I can put all of the stuff.http://www.ubuntugeek.com/how-to-read-ext3ext4-linux-partition-from-windows-7.html This may help.
