Solve : visual basic if and??

Answer»

I would like to know the command for the following:

if checkbox1.checked = true

AND

checkbox2.checked = true

AND

checkbox3.checked = true

DO THIS BLA BLA

Else If

DO THIS BLA BLA BLA

I have to be close with this code.

I know there is THEN AND ELSE IF but what about AND  so when I click the final go button it will do only what applies ESPECIALLY WHILE THERE IS MULTIPLE CHECKED BOXES checked

(not yelling with caps)

ThanksIs this home work? If you aren't yelling with the "caps"what was the point of using all "caps" and making them "bold" at the same time? Quote from: mroilfield on December 23, 2010, 10:26:45 PM

what was the point of using all "caps" and making them "bold" at the same time?

He emphasises so heavily because he is WELL AWARE that there is somebody who doesn't understand this thing, and he thinks it's us. In fact it's him.

Although it might seem completely unnatural, usually Programming languages have documentation.

Why, even the Good old If Statement has a page:

I love the negative assumptions.. you guys need to get off your negative implication idiot boat and start thinking how to help people.

The caps was simply intended to help you read better.. it identifies the important statements... and yes there are many ways of doing that but I chose caps...

As for the post with the helpful link.. thanks very much.

Any other helpful links?

Or video links perferably?

I have searched youtube already really HARD and yes I have found if statements but nothing with if this AND THIS

Oh yes and you can skip any negative comments because it is the merry season right..

Thanks in advance. Quote from: Salmon Trout on December 24, 2010, 12:04:53 AM

getpcs, you got negative comments because you SHOUTED at us, and also (to a certain extent) because your question is obviously about a homework or school project, therefore having an educational purpose. That is, to get the student to practise and develop skills and so the teacher can see what the student has (and has not!) absorbed from the classes and also any course materials such as textbooks. You need to be saying to your teacher "I don't understand what check boxes are for and how to program with them."

So are you now assuming that we need help to read the post? If so why didn't you put it all in bold caps?

Saying people are on "idiot BOATS" is implying that we are idiots and that is sure to get you more help. As Salmon pointed out you need to talk this over with your teacher and get them to EXPLAIN it for you again. Quote from: mroilfield on December 24, 2010, 03:00:04 PM
Saying people are on "idiot boats"

I missed that before. Way to win friends and get helpful posts! Well, not really - it was a doomed cause from the start.
