Solve : Vista Vista Vista?

Answer»

the next SP will probably fix most of the backwards compatibility issues, and I don't have too MANY to start, the apple commercials are NOT true. you should use Home Premium for general use (not the select-a VISTA wheel!) OK...Let's start from the source, Micro$oft.

Windows XP:
System requirements for Windows XP operating systems (Home & Pro):
Quote

•Pentium 233-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (300 MHz is recommended)
At least 64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (128 MB is recommended)
•At least 1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available space on the hard disk
Do you want to run computer like that? GOOD luck!

Windows Vista recommended system requirements

Quote
Home Basic
# 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
# 512 MB of system memory
# 20 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
# Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory

Quote
Home Premium / Business / Ultimate
# 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor
# 1 GB of system memory
# 40 GB hard drive with at least 15 GB of available space
# Support for DirectX 9 graphics with:
* WDDM Driver
* 128 MB of graphics memory (minimum)
* Pixel Shader 2.0 in hardware
* 32 bits per pixel

And we all know, that when Micro$oft, or any other manufacturer lists some system requirements, you can easily double it to make sure it'll run correctly, and not like molases.
In that case, when I stated many time before, I want for my Vista Home Premium 2GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, and 256-512MB video card, I'm not gonna back off.
