Hello SD,
It's been roughly 7 days I believe, I apologize for not using a PM to contact you as you asked, but currently the only internet access I have on a regular basis is my wife's blackberry. I did get a desktop and should be getting internet access Friday.

ANYWAYS, was hoping you had some new advice on my netbook?

Close any open web browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc) before starting ComboFix.

Temporarily disable your anti-virus, and any anti-spyware real-time protection before performing a scan. Click this link to see a list of security programs that should be disabled and how to disable them.

Vista users Right-click combofix.exe and select Run as Administrator and follow the prompts.
Double-click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When finished, ComboFix will PRODUCE a log for you.
Post the ComboFix log and a new HijackThis log in your next reply.

NOTE: Do not mouseclick ComboFix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

Remember to re-enable your anti-virus and anti-spyware protection when ComboFix is complete.

Thanks for the thought, but again, I literally can do nothing with the netbook as there are no icons, start bar and task manager will not work. Safe mode does not work either. Any additional advice?I'm afraid I'm out of ideas. I'll run this by Evil to see if he can help.I checked with EF and he can't think of anything else we can do. Perhaps, it's time to TAKE it to a repair facility.Thanks SD. I appreciate it! Waiting with anticipation. Lol.Oops. Haha, I apologize for the previous post.
