ok..so i have a laptop and it's about 21/2 years old. and boy does it have problems.If i shut it down and start it back up it says configuring updates 3 of 3 0% COMPLETE and it stays that way for like 3 or 4 hours untill the screen saver come up and then i can put my password in??? lol i dont know much about COMPUTERS but im really want to learn! BTW this is a gateway not real sure what the model is i can look it up if needed it has vista.

It will require a re-boot...go ahead.

NOTE: One of the recent Vista updates issued had an abnormal startup period upon re-boot...again just be patient and let it finish. Grab a coffee or Adult beverage of your choice.

I believe i timed it on my system and it was 8 + minutes or so...this could be longer depending on your system.ok i did that and it keeps saying ERROR (S) found code 8008005 windows update encountered an unknown error. wow this sucks i have a another question....i use AVG virus protection...is it any good i have alot of family and friends that use it and love it. but i play world of warcraft and im online alot and just want to protect both of my computers lol
