i need to learn how to MAKE a virtual game port for my joystick [Wingman Extreme Digital 3D] it uses a physical game port but in the readme file it states
"the Logitech WingMan line of serial and USB gaming DEVICES will function on
computers without gameports or soundcards. However, the Windows operating
system requires a gameport entry in the "Sound, Video, and Game Controllers"
section of the Device Manager in order for any gaming devices to be ADDED in
the Control Panel. If your computer does not have a soundcard or a gameport, it
is very important that a "virtual" gameport is listed in the Device Manager in
order for the WingMan Force or WingMan Formula Force to function properly. It is
not necessary for a physical gameport to be installed in the system. Installing
the driver is SUFFICIENT."
so it is aparant i need a virtual game port
