Answer» hi people, you've come to my rescue before !!! i need you again, i am using yahoo messenger to show and send a VIDEO to myself for testing. everything works just fine untill the picture pops up and then i receive an error message: YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO VIEW THIS WEBCAM. i'ts my own computer!!, i tried downloading ACROBAT FLASH player but still nothing, i believe i need to SET my seetings somehow, i've tried but still nothing.. i know you can help you are the best !!! using a compaq deskpro en with windows 2000 and a intel cs100 CAMERA.You need to be at the other computer to give permission to let you view the webcam. You invite someone to share your webcam, then they must accept the invitation.i am the other computer, and i do accept the invitation it just wont let me see the cam. it should work if i send it to myself right? Are you doing this from a separate computer?

This is probably the problem.
You should have two computers, so you see yourself on the other computer.
I don't think that you will be allowed to see yourself on the same computer.

OK. Go into "My Computer" and then select your camera device. It should show the device, and the image it is sending.

Well, try sending the image to another computer. That's all I can think of for now.
