Answer» hi,my computer monitor changes colors OFTEN,never goes dark or off,why ?also my SOUND card works when it wants to.i can be chatting with a headset on and it quits.is it time to buy NEW cards?thanksIs this a new PC? A LAPTOP? A brand name? Home built? Have you always had the problem? If the display changes colors, and it is a REGULAR CRT monitor, That means a loose connection. But that should not have anything to do with the sound card.
