Answer» hey, i have been trying to delete a user NAME. i GO to control panel and click user name, i then click the persons name and click delete user account. it then asks if i want to delete files and what not. i click yes and it says windows will delete joes name.....then it just sits there and doesnt delete, can anybody help me?deleting user names.....What o/s are you using and .....is the person you are trying to delete the administrator ? let us know dl65 no he is not a user administrator and i am using windows XP..its like it freezes each time i try to do itHave you been keeping up with your Windows Updates? With what user account are you logged in when you try to delete?
