Answer» Quick question, how long should it take for SP2 to download and install? I an upgrading a teacher's laptop and SP2 seems to be stuck at "performing cleanup". I started it at approx 1pm and now it is almost 3:30. The TASK manager shows that the setup wizard and the updates are still running, but this seems a bit long. How much room was on the drive and how fast of a machine is it? It's POSSIBLE you are DOWNLOADING not just SP.2 but all updates since SP.2 was released. If you are on a dial-up connection 2.5 hours could be just about half of what is REQUIRED, or even less. |
