My name is Christopher and I have and am having a problem with zip files.
The problem is,,,,, I have no idea what or how to get them installed into the programs I NEED them to be in. I have down loaded " Cam Zip" and 'Jzip" but hey do not give detailed instructions as how to unzip the files that I would like installed. If their is anyone that can help,, I would really be in your debt. Yes I am running WINDOWS Vista. " Not by choice" So if anyone can help me with step by step instructions that would be great. Christopher Hello, Christopher. Try this: http://www.camunzip.com/ and http://www.jzip.com/ ...or maybe http://www.7-zip.org/ Xp will unzip ( extract ), create a new folder and store all files with normal FORMAT and size.
Save zipped file to desktop, point to zipped icon for zipped file, right click and CHOOSE extract.
Quote start, help and support on XP machine: extract When you extract a file, an uncompressed copy of the file that is created in a folder you specify. The ORIGINAL file remains in the compressed folder
