Answer» I am unable to double click my icons on the desktop and any open web page is unresponsive after laptop sleeps. If I open task MANAGER I am then able to click on LINKS and everything is normal. I just have to open task manager I do not have to restart windows explorer. This is now happening everytime I let the laptop sleep. Can anyone help. The laptop has windows 10. Thanks The same or similar problems have been reported. Question.: Would you be happy using a workaround? for example, only letting the monitor shut down but leave the PC running? That will reduce some power consumption. I AGREE with just setting the hd and display to power down after a defined period of inactivity. Believe it or not neither sleep nor hibernation were ever 100% perfected by Microsoft and still cause problems for some users.Thank you both Allan & Geek. I will WORK on your suggestions and see if that helps. I will come back and post the results. Thanks again
