Answer» For the past few days, when I go to get on the coimputer, a blue window appears on the screen. It says UNLOCK COMPUTER. Then it says the computer is in use and has been locked. Then you have to enter a USER name and password or else you can't get into it. It's happening EVERY time you go to the computer when it's in a STANDBY mode. When you reboot the system, the window appears again. I have Windows XP Home. Can someone help me? Thanks. Lou [email REMOVED to prevent any unwanted spam] Try and reboot in Safe Mode ( by pressing F8 repeatedly during the boot up process), in Safe Mode there is a Admin account that you should be able to change the password in.Go into your display settings and untick the following box: "On resume, password protect" Click Apply and/or OK and you won't be bothered with it any more.
